Log, Brush & Fallen Tree Removal in Connecticut & Western Massachusetts

The tree came down, but the wood didn't leave with it. Maybe the tree crew left the logs, maybe you passed on haul-away to save a few dollars, or maybe a storm dropped one and you've been mowing around it ever since. We load it up and haul it off, so the logs, brush and debris are gone for good.

Left behind after tree work

The tree is gone. The logs are still there.

It happens all the time. A tree service drops a tree, cuts it into rounds, and haul-away was extra, so the wood stays. Now there's a pile of logs and limbs sitting on the lawn, too heavy to move by hand and too much to burn.

That's where we come in. We take logs, trunk sections, brush, limbs and wood chips, load them with compact equipment, and haul them off the property. Most of the time there's a stump right next to the pile, and we can grind that stump on the same trip.

What we haul away

If it's wood and it's on the ground, we can take it

Logs and trunk rounds

Logs and trunk sections a tree crew cut up and left behind.

Fallen trees

Trees that have already come down in a storm or on their own, cut up and hauled off.

Brush and limbs

Brush piles, branches and limbs, whether it's one pile or a few years' worth.

Old wood piles

Rotting firewood and wood piles nobody's going to burn.

Wood chips and grindings

Chips a tree crew left behind and the grindings from a stump job.

Shrub and bush debris

Debris from shrub and bush removal, hauled off with everything else.

What to expect

Compact equipment, clean work

Logs and stump on the same trip

Have a stump next to that log pile? We take care of both while we're there.

Fits through a 36-inch gate

Our equipment is compact, so backyards, fenced-in yards and tight side access aren't a problem.

Raked out and cleaned up

We rake the area out when the wood is gone and leave the property better than we found it.

  2. We get you on the schedule

Most jobs are scheduled within the week.

  3. We load it and haul it

  4. You get your space back

Stumps and logs together

Most log piles come with a stump

When a tree comes down, it usually leaves two problems: the wood and the stump. We handle both on the same trip. The stump gets ground below grade, the logs and brush get hauled off, and you only schedule once.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much does log and brush removal cost?

It depends on how much wood there is, how big the pieces are and how easy it is to reach. Text us a photo and we’ll give you a clear price up front, with no surprises once we’re there.

The tree company left the logs. Can you take them?

Yes. Logs and trunk rounds left behind after tree work are exactly what this service is for.

Do you cut down trees?

No. We handle wood that’s already on the ground. If a tree is still standing, or hung up in another tree or on a structure, you’ll need a tree service for that part. Once it’s down, we can haul the wood and grind the stump.

Do you take wood chips and stump grindings?

Yes. That includes chips a tree crew left behind and the grindings from a stump job.

Can you grind the stump on the same visit?

Yes. Most log piles come with a stump, and we take care of both in one trip.

Do I need to be home?

No, as long as we can get to the pile and know exactly what’s going.

Can you get into a fenced backyard?

Yes. Our equipment fits through a standard 36-inch gate.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Fully licensed and insured, and owner-operated.
